On a strip of land shaped by the bends of the Adige River lies Verona, a splendid city on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Two thousand years of history enclosed in little more than 200 square kilometres, this, in short, is Verona: a place where artistic elements of the highest quality from different historical periods are harmoniously integrated. Verona is a city that transmits a peculiar magic, perhaps because of the imposing Renaissance architecture that speaks of its past splendour, or perhaps because of the Adige River that gives it splendid views.
